By accessing the website www.kayaksemois-belgique.com and/or booking our services, you accept these Terms of Use without reservation.

These terms may be amended at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the update date indicated at the bottom of the document.

If you do not accept these terms, we invite you not to use our online services and to contact us directly by phone.

3 Description of services

The website kayaksemois-belgique.com offers in particular:

• The presentation and online booking of kayak and canoe rentals on the Semois
• Tourist information about the Semois valley and the Belgian Ardennes
• Hydrological monitoring of the water level of the Semois, Lesse and Ourthe
• Information about the Camping au camping de Poupehan
• Guides about Ardennes specialities, villages and iconic places

4 Booking conditions

4.1 Procedures

• Any booking is personal and non-transferable without prior agreement.
• The booking is only final after written confirmation on our part (e-mail or SMS).
• We reserve the right to refuse any booking in case of unavailability or dangerous conditions.

4.2 Prices and payment

• The displayed rates are in euros (€) and include the applicable VAT.
• Payment can be made in cash, by Bancontact, bank transfer or bank card according to the terms specified at the time of booking.
• No banking data is stored on our servers.

4.3 Platform fees and deposit

For each booking made via our platform, platform fees (commission of 10%) are included in the displayed total price.

• These fees cover digital services: payment security, real-time availability management, customer support and technical maintenance.
• Payment terms: The amount corresponding to the platform fees is collected online at the time of booking (deposit). The remaining balance (gross price of the service) is to be paid directly to the provider on the day of the activity.

6 Limitation of liability

6.1 Operator's liability

• Kayak-semois Ardenne undertakes to provide equipment in good working order and a quality service.
• We are insured for professional civil liability.
• In case of cancellation for safety reasons (weather, water level), our liability is limited to refund or postponement.

6.2 Customer's liability

• Each participant is responsible for their behaviour on the river and for complying with the safety rules.
• Any damage caused deliberately to the equipment will be charged to the customer.
• Kayaking involves inherent risks that the customer accepts when booking.

6.3 Website information

Tourist information (opening hours, partner rates, water levels) is provided for guidance only and may change. We do not guarantee its accuracy in real time. Always check with official sources before travelling.

7 Intellectual property

The entire content of the website (texts, photographs, videos, logos, source code, structured data, schemas) is the exclusive property of Kayak-semois Ardenne or is the subject of a usage licence granted to Kayak-semois Ardenne.

• Reproduction prohibited without prior written authorisation, for commercial purposes.
• Inbound links allowed provided the website is not presented within a frame (iframe) and does not harm the brand image.
• Journalistic and non-commercial use: Mention the source kayaksemois-belgique.com with a link.

8 Personal data

The processing of personal data collected via this website is governed by our Privacy Policy, compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU 2016/679) and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018.

Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Namur (Belgium).
